The Chair.
A concert promoter turned Libertarian. In 2020, when the entire life events industry shut down for what seemed like indefinitely, it didn’t sit well with me how my industry handled the pandemic and how easily people lost their jobs and their medical privacy and health was not only violated but completely ignored.
We just blindly trusted the ‘experts’ when they had conflicting data and science compared to other experts. Scientists and health experts have disagreed and had opposing views since the existence of humanity, but now we were being sold to there being only one truth. That didn’t sit well with me.
This was just the beginning of taking me down a path of exploring other areas of politics. Quickly, I lost faith in the Democratic & Republican parties, and found the Libertarian Party as someone that had better values and ideas; and even when they didn’t align with my beliefs, at least they would leave me alone. Don’t hurt people, don’t take their stuff really resonated with me.
In 2022, I became an American citizen, and on the first day I decided I would never join one of the two major parties and registered Libertarian. In November of 2020, I joined the Orange County Libertarian Party and have been a member ever since.

The Vice Chair.
Being raised on a farm, I love watching things grow. Trained as a scientist, I learned to methodically find the underlying principles in a situation and apply them to new circumstances. Later, as a teacher, my biggest reward was watching those flashes of realization – the “aha moments” – on the faces of my students, and seeing them put their new-found insights to good use. These are the things that still drive me today.

The Secretary.
He joined the Libertarian Party in 2021 and developed a passion for talking to people about Libertarian theory and ideas. He joined the Libertarian Party of Orange County to help spread liberty around the county and beyond, then became secretary soon after.
