Gregory Peele Jr. is an Orlando native who grew up in Seminole County and returned to live in Orange County in 2008. He is a mathematician and software developer with a career background is in defense modeling and simulation research. He graduated from the University of Central Florida with degrees in mathematics and computer science. He is currently the director of the small software consulting company he founded, Geometric Progress LLC.

Greg originally considered himself a constitutional conservative. Disillusioned with endless war, he supported the Ron Paul revolution in 2008 and 2012. He joined the Libertarian Party in 2016 after watching the LNC convention on C-SPAN, realizing that it was the only party that fully supported all aspects of individual liberty and self-determination beyond the narrow left/right divide.

Greg supported the Gary Johnson for President and Paul Stanton for Senate 2016 campaigns in Florida, and then joined and volunteered in his local Libertarian Party affiliate in Orange County. His experiences volunteering in Orange impressed upon him the importance of working together with all libertarians to build a positive and active party, regardless of differences of opinion or background. Greg is often active on social media, sharing national and international news stories, political ideas, and yes, even occasionally dank memes.

Outside of politics, Greg is also passionate about cooking, gardening, computer gaming, and world travel. His favorite trips include a summer vacation to the main island of Japan and a winter road trip around the entirety of Iceland.
